The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC; French: Office des Nations unies contre la drogue et le crime) is the United Nations office working to make the world safer from drugs, crime, terrorism and corruption.
History
[edit]The United Nations International Drug Control Program (UNDCP) and the Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Division in the United Nations Office at Vienna were merged in 1997 to form the Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention. This was renamed United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in 2002.[1][2]
